This handmade teabowl was made in my small pottery workshop here in Taiwan. I used local Taiwanese clay and then applied a shino glaze.
After glazing I brushed on iron oxide stokes to add interest. Showing the hand of the maker is important.
This bowl feels comfortable in the hands. It will sit nicely next to your other chawans.
I hand carved the foot ring, adding more uniqueness to the piece.
